Uses
- Used to give neat and tidy finish to ethernet cable runs

Advantages
- Makes troubleshooting network issues at a later date much easier
- Much neater job than just simply running the cable directly
- Is compatible with the universally standard 19 inch rack setup
- 24 port patch panel would suit most small-medium sized offices
Disadvantages
- May not have enough ports for larger jobs, could just buy 2x 16 port versions or a 48 port patch panel for example instead, depending on your needs
